Welcome to the online open house for the Route 40 Transit-Plus Multimodal Corridor (TPMC) project!
Since 2020, the community has helped design quality street improvements to provide a safer place for people to get around, keep Route 40 reliable, and foster business activity. Your feedback continues to be valued, and the designs have recently been updated. Use this online open house to review proposed designs and share your thoughts.
With your feedback, designs will be finalized and shared and construction preparation will begin later this year.

What has happened so far?
Early 2020
We started reaching out to the community to better understand how people use Route 40 and how they get to and from the project corridor.
Spring 2021
We reached out to the community, key stakeholders, and our advisory boards to share our preliminary designs and gather feedback.
Summer 2021
We shared our first draft of our preliminary designs for the entire corridor, which included our focus areas in Westlake, Fremont, Ballard, and North Seattle.
2022
We gathered feedback on some updates to our preliminary designs at six key intersections along the corridor in Westlake, Fremont, and Ballard.
A summary of what the community has shared and how the feedback has been incorporated can be viewed here.
